Venturist Summer Camp
Are you ready to transform your creativity into reality? Khalifa Fund is hosting the Summer Venturist Camp from 7th to 13th July 2025 at Abu Dhabi 24 Headquarters in Zayed Port, Abu Dhabi.

This dynamic programme is designed to equip students with the skills, teamwork, and entrepreneurial mindset needed to excel in the gaming industry. Whether you are a complete beginner or seeking a more advanced challenge, this immersive experience fosters independent thinking and innovation.
Programme Structure
The camp’s training is divided into two specialised pathways based on age:
- Ages 13–15: Establish a strong foundation in programming and game development.
- Ages 16–18: Engage in advanced game development, exploring complex techniques and creative approaches.
Participants will undergo a selection process to be placed in the most suitable track. In the advanced pathway, students will embrace a Unity-style approach, designing their games from scratch and crafting unique creative journeys.
Agenda
Day 1 – Experimentation & Team Bonding
Connect with your peers, collaborate, and start exploring ideas.
Day 2 – Foundations & Collaborative Critiques
Build the core elements of your game and refine concepts through peer feedback.
Day 3 – AI & Coding Integration
Gain hands-on experience with large language models (LLM) and delve into LUA coding, the same language used in Roblox.
Day 4 – Final Inspiration
Explore professionally designed levels to spark fresh ideas for your game.
Day 5 – Game Refinement & Pitching
Fine-tune your creation and prepare a compelling pitch for your target audience.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, students must meet the following requirements:
- Age: 13–18 years
- Residency: Must be a resident of Abu Dhabi
- Availability: Able to attend onsite from 7th to 13th July 2025
