A Generation Shaping Its Own Future
The Future Entrepreneur Programme is a strategic initiative organised by the Khalifa Fund, aimed at preparing a new generation of young entrepreneurs and innovators aged 4 to 18. The programme focuses on developing participants’ practical and technological skills within an interactive and motivating learning environment that supports Abu Dhabi’s economic growth, fuelled by knowledge and innovation.
The programme aligns with the Emirate’s vision of building a sustainable and competitive economy by investing in talent from an early age.
It includes two main tracks under its umbrella:
1) Young Entrepreneurs Programme
A practical track that introduces the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and financial literacy from an early age.
What does it include?
Interactive workshops and hands-on activities in product design, pricing and brand building
Two tracks to choose from: Trader or Inventor
Challenges and competitions that foster creativity and initiative
An official business licence is awarded to participants who successfully complete the programme
Expected outcome: Empowering children and youth to confidently launch their own ventures and contribute to Abu Dhabi’s economy.
2) Game Development Programme
A specialised track targeting Emirati youth interested in technology and the gaming industry.
What does it include?
Intensive, hands-on training experience
Expert-led training and mentorship
Access to the latest game development tools and technologies
Expected outcome: Preparing national talents to enter the gaming sector and the wider creative economy, equipped with confidence and requisite skills.
